Man found dead with severe burns near Portage Park car dealership

A man was found dead with severe burns in a lot adjacent to a car dealership in Chicago’s Portage Park neighborhood early Tuesday, authorities said. Officers were called around 12:10 a.m. to West Irving Park Road near North Lockwood Avenue, where the man was found in a lot next to the City Volkswagen dealership. Police said the unidentified adult man had burns throughout his body and injuries to his head.
